This club was founded by Mr. Sarhan Mohammad Sadiq(Founder President, GMU LOC) and Mr. Ohmed Shahid Khilji (Co-founding President, GMU LOC) during the year 2008 and is responsible for all the Literary and Oratory events within the University. Furthermore the same selects the participants for various events outside and inside the University.
Ever since the club has been formed students have been trained and have managed to uphold the name of our valued institution most notably including the winning of the intercollegiate debate at American University of Sharjah in 2009.

GMU LOC conducted a range of sessions in Mafraq hospital to create awareness of Residency opportunities the world abroad .This included lectures by doctors talking about various career options and how to go about tacking different exams.
