This was possible not only because of our excellent infrastructural facilities and the highly talented and committed teachers but also because of our efforts to initiate innovative educational programs, seminars and conferences. The Summer Training Program for our clinical students is yet another example in this direction. In addition the students will highly benefit from the Research Division and Simulation center at the Hospital. I feel confident that the ideas, impressions and images I had about medical education as cherished dreams are now unfolding and taking shape.

The expanded facilities for recreation and for sports and games in the University will surely add to the friendly academic ambience here and invite our students to participate wholeheartedly in all our activities and give out their very best.
