Masters in Human Reproductive Biology (MHRB)

This course provides medical and health professionals with advanced theoretical understanding and research training in the applications of human reproductive biology. The program focuses on ethical practice and evidence-based approach to patient management and the curriculum meets international standards with the constituent courses reflecting current clinical practice and research developments in the field of human reproductive biology.

The program has received initial accreditation by Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, UAE. This course is the first of its kind offered in the country.

On successful completion of the program, the student will be awarded the degree of Masters in Human Reproductive Biology and would be a stepping stone to pursue a career in Reproductive Medicine.

  • A Bachelor’s degree in medicine from a University / Institute listed in WHO directory of medical schools.
  • A valid UAE – G.P license.
  • Distinct undergraduate performance of GPA of 3 on a 4-point scale, or equivalent grade (“B”).
  • English language proficiency test score of 550 for TOEFL or 6.5 for IELTS.
  • Relevant academic and professional experience.
  • Employment in any of the Fertility Centers in the country or abroad as a beginner in the specialty
  • Work in Fertility Laboratories or Clinics either in the government or the private sector
  • Employed in multispecialty hospitals and run infertility clinics
  • Self-employed and start fertility clinics / lab on own
  • Further do PhD in the field of reproductive medicine
  • Become a Research Assistant and pursue a career in research
  • Join one of the university teaching hospitals to be recruited as a Lecturer
  • Further training as Embryologist or Reproductive Endocrinologist
  • Advanced standing for entry into a MD program in Obstetrics and Gynecology
