The Challenge

The global health workforce crisis is not characterized exclusively by the shortage of healthcare workers, but also by in-country mal-distribution and poor motivation, performance and quality of services rendered by healthcare personnel. The health workers' challenges are compounded by and result in the international migration of health workers. In order to increase the growth of private health service delivery and health workforce production, participation of all relative stakeholders like the ministry of health, Ministry of education, and private sector is essential.
